Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Leangenix uses cookies and similar technologies on https://leangenix.io/, including our appointment-booking page.

For information about how we handle personal information, please read our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can remember choices, support website functionality, and help website owners understand how visitors use their site.

We also use similar browser-storage technologies. Session storage generally lasts for the current browsing session, while persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them.

Cookies may be associated with our own domain or with third-party services used on our website.

2. How we use these technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Remember and apply your cookie choices.

  • Support website functionality and content display.

  • Measure website usage through Google Analytics, subject to the applicable consent settings.

  • Support third-party functionality, including appointment scheduling.

We use Cookiebot by Usercentrics to display our consent banner and manage cookie preferences.

3. Necessary cookies and storage

The following items appear in our Cookiebot declaration:

NameService / domainPurposeDeclared duration
CookieConsentCookiebot / leangenix.ioStores your cookie-consent choices for this website.1 year
wp_consent_functionalWordPress Consent API / leangenix.ioRecords a consent preference so website components can apply the relevant choice.30 days
wpEmojiSettingsSupportsWordPress / leangenix.ioStores information about your browser’s support for displaying emoji. This is browser storage rather than a conventional HTTP cookie.Session

These items are currently classified as necessary in our Cookiebot declaration. Necessary items cannot be switched off through its category controls. You can block or remove browser storage through your browser settings, although doing so may affect website functions or cause the consent banner to reappear.

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and interactions and improve our website.

Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, referring websites, interactions, approximate location, browser and device characteristics, and cookie-based identifiers.

Google documents the following standard Google Analytics 4 cookies:

CookiePurposeGoogle’s default duration
_gaDistinguishes visitors for analytics measurement.2 years
_ga_<container-id>Maintains session state for a particular Analytics configuration.2 years

These are Google’s standard cookie names and default durations. Actual names and lifetimes depend on the website configuration and browser restrictions. They should not be read as independently verified expiry periods for your device.

Optional analytics-cookie storage is controlled through the Statistics category in our cookie settings.

Our website includes Google Consent Mode configuration, which communicates consent choices to Google tags. Depending on the implementation, Google tags may send limited cookieless signals when analytics-cookie consent is denied. Rejecting analytics cookies should therefore not be understood as a guarantee that no requests reach Google.

For further information, see Google Analytics cookie documentation and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

5. Appointment scheduling

Our “Book a call” page includes a scheduling tool provided by Cal.com.

Loading or using this tool connects your browser to Cal.com. The service processes technical information needed to provide the booking interface and information you choose to submit when making a booking.

Third-party storage behavior may depend on the booking service, your browser settings, and your interaction with the tool. Please read Cal.com’s Privacy Policy for more information.

6. Managing your choices

When the Cookiebot banner appears, you can:

  • Select Deny to reject optional categories.

  • Choose individual categories and select Allow selection.

  • Select Allow all to accept the optional categories shown.

You can revisit your choices using the website’s cookie-settings widget. Select Change your consent to update your preferences, or Withdraw your consent where available.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

You can also delete or block cookies through your browser’s privacy settings. Deleting cookies may remove your saved preferences, and blocking third-party storage may affect embedded services.

Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

7. Cookie information and updates

You can view the cookie declaration through the Details tab in our Cookiebot banner.

Cookies and browser storage may change when we update the website or its service providers. We will update this policy and our declaration to reflect relevant changes.

Cookie lifetimes are separate from the time a provider retains information collected using those cookies. Further information about personal-information retention is available in our Privacy Policy.
